As a hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman and home improvement undertaker of over 40 years, I understand the need for a quality knife. After years of buying and utilizing numerous knives, it became clear that nothing quite compares to the quality, integrity and style of a handmade knife. It is this ideal combined with my passion for learning the intricacies of such a beautiful trade, that led me to starting my own custom knives business.

About the Business
Making a purchase from Aspinwall Custom Knives means that you have chosen a knife that has been made, fired and finished by hand. All knives are carefully made with D2 high carbon steel. Knives are started with raw blank steel, heat-treated and finished. Next, blanks are annealed to temper the steel. I then fit handle material and all accents before final assembly. Handles are attached with mechanical pins and epoxy. After dry time, handles and accents are then shaped and finished. Blades are polished and buffed to a high gloss finish.
Each knife comes with its own handmade leather sheath! (See photo.)
